Acts 26:32 Agrippa said to Festus, “This man could have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar.”
Paul, wanting the opportunity to share the love of Christ, chose chains over freedom. Paul could have been set free, but within his chains he would be granted the opportunity to be a witness for God. Are we willing to walk with the same attitude possessed by Paul? Are we willing to give up our freedom, or any freedoms, to seize the opportunity to share the love of God? Our willingness, the manner in which we have answered these questions, speaks to our relationship with God. Our willingness, the manner in which we have answered these questions, speaks to the placement of God within our lives. Each day brings with it a great opportunity to share the love of Christ.
