Rumors Of God: Experience The Kind Of Faith You’ve Only Heard About, written by Darren Whitehead and Jon Tyson, is a book designed to help both Christians and non- Christians understand that God is still present within this world, waiting to be found and utilized.
The following words in chapter two essentially sum up the reasoning behind the existence of this book as they describe the misdirected approach to the Christian life in today’s society: “….for the most part, the desires and dreams of Christians are the same as non-Christians’. Essentially we are dreaming and longing for the same things. This seems odd—shouldn’t we be different from non-Christians? Shouldn’t our dreams be fueled by a different story?”
Darren and Jon bring to light the fact that Christians have desires and dreams, but they are essentially leaving God out of the big picture as their focus is more upon themselves and less upon the presence and direction of God.
This book will remind it’s readers of God’s original plan, His desire to walk daily with each of His children, within a personal, powerful, life changing, relationship.
All in all, this book is a recommended read for all who are seeking to grow within the presence of Christ.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own
I feel one of the things the authors are trying to help remind us of, or for those who are not fully aware of, is to help us see through Bible passages how much more God has for each one of us in every area of our lives: our faith, our dreams, our life, and more. It’s easy to fall into ruts, and that includes our thinking as well, which is one reason I enjoy reading books of this sort – on the topic of faith – coming from another angle than the way I tend to see it. Books that help me think and reflect on my life, to see things from another angle, in a different way than I tend to see them and this has helped me to do just that in an easy to read format and not too deep or hard to grasp or understand.
