Smack-Dab in the Middle of God’s Love, written by Brennan Manning and John Blase, and Illustrated by Nicole Tadgell, is a children’s book written to solidify the presence of God within the center of a child’s life.
This story follows a couple who are “smack-dab in the middle” of their existence on earth. While they have no children of their own, they relish the opportunities to share the love of God with those living within their village, Hopi.
The story carries it’s youthful reader and/or listener through a thoughtful understanding of God’s love and His desire to be at the center of their lives, while using illustrative descriptions that can be found within a child’s everyday life.
Word’s cannot begin to describe the magnificent illustrations within the book. They use bright vibrant colors, colors that will surely catch the eyes of any child. Ornate clothing and scenes bring to life that which is being described on each page.
If you have children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, or work with children within a church setting, this book would make a wonderful tool to enhance their lives.
