In my daily ‘Proverbs of the Day’, today, chapter 16, I had already connected with this verse. Was thinking about whether what I posted this morning about Hannah, and God being enough, is something I really mean. Do I secretly desire anything, such as silver or gold, above Him. I pray not. Love this part, Dr. Jeff. “When we are prideful, we are not showing people a life that is focused on Jesus. We are showing them an example that should not to be followed.” I am reminded, what people need to see most is not more of me, they need to see the Jesus in me!
