Devotion 1/23/11

Hebrews 10:25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

I am honored to share with you daily devotions, but I will do this only six days a week…So let me encourage you to enter the house of God, on His day, the Lord’s Day, and receive your message from one of His many dedicated servants. May God bless you as your enter His house to receive His message and His guidance.

Devotion 1/22/11

Psalm 25:5 guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.

We will not have to walk through this life alone, spiritually speaking. We might find ourselves void of the presence of humans, but we will never be at a loss for the presence of God. As we walk within the truth of God, as we seek His face with a passion, His presence will be in our lives in a powerful way. Christians should be seeking the truth of God. Christians should be seeking to be taught by God. Christians should be looking to God to find the hope they need in this seemingly hopeless world. As we do these three things, our lives will be greatly blessed, not in a monetary manner but with the peace that can only come from the presence of God.

Prayer Starter:

Lord, guide me into Your presence; lead me into Your understanding.
