Daily Devotion 11/2/11

Romans 15:18-19 I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obey God by what I have said and done—by the power of signs and miracles, through the power of the Spirit. So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.

“I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.” How many of us can make this same claim? How many of us feel the same way? Paul was proud of his life–not as it was before his conversion, but as it stood following the moment his eyes were opened up to the presence of Christ. He never stood back, but always pressed forward, sharing with anyone that would allow him an audience. Why? The answer is simple: Paul loved the Lord with all his being. Some might say Paul is an exception to the rule when it comes to Christians, but this would not be completely truthful, for God can use us all to powerfully impact this world if we are willing to let Him.

Prayer Starter:

Lord, use me powerfully to reach the lost within this world.
