Book Review, ” Grieving God’s Way,” Margaret Brownley, Author

Grieving God’s Way: The Path To Lasting Hope And Healing, written by Margaret Brownley, is a book designed to carry its reader through the difficulties of grieving by drawing them closer to God.

Margaret’s 90 day devotional is purposefully divided into four sections: Healing the Grieving Body, Healing the Grieving Soul, Healing the Grieving Heart, and Healing the Grieving Spirit. Each of these sections are designed to move the grieving person from the moments of feeling alone and disconnected from the world into the understanding of God’s presence and purpose, even within that which they had experienced.

These devotionals have the power to change our understanding of the grieving process. They carry us from our faulty system of grieving into a process that is inspired by and filled with the Word of and presence of God. Thus, this is a recommended read for all who are grieving and those who want to help another through the grieving process.
