11/3/12 Daily Devotion

1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 for they themselves report what kind of reception you gave us. They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, [10] and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.

What is a good indicator of success? Many within business will state that a good indicator is the response of the consumer. In other words, if the consumer is speaking about the product or service with favor, then success has come. Can this same indicator cross over into our Christian lives? YES! If we are walking and acting in such a manner that others are speaking about our presence within this world in a positive manner, then we are successful. The Bible is very clear that those whose lives are filled with Christ will expel His presence into the lives of others, thus causing them to seek Him for salvation and forgiveness. Who do others find within your life, you or Jesus?

Prayer Starter:

Lord, change me so I can change the world.
