11/14/12 Daily Devotion

Acts 2:45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.

The early church sacrificed greatly for the expansion of God’s kingdom and the edification of His church. When a need rose up from the shadows, they sought to understand clearly what was needed and then proceeded to do all that was within their ability to see this need to fruition. They made no excuses; they served. They did not turn a deaf ear; they sacrificed. WHATEVER needed to be done, they did all that was within their power, all that they could do, and for this they were very blessed. How have you sacrificed for the expansion of God’s kingdom? What have you given up for the edification of God’s church?

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me understand that I have within my power the ability to change this world though Your love, Your grace, and Your mercy.
