Proverbs 8:10 Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold,

Most people when faced with decisions or choices weigh the options and try to pick the one that makes the most sense for them and their station in life. Sometimes, these options leave the simplest of choices, while others leave a vast amount of opportunities, thus making it more difficult. That stated, if we were presented with the opportunity to gain a large amount of precious metals or obtain the wisdom of another human being, most of us would not hesitate to accept that which holds more worth. But in most cases, we would be wrong as to that which is worth more. We would turn to the silver or reach for the gold, knowing that we could, in the least, trade them in for some quick cash, but what happens next? We use the money, and then it is gone. But if we were to obtain the wisdom of another person, we are blessed for many years to come. We can learn and grow from this obtained wisdom, and we can pass it to another, allowing it to touch someone else’s life. When we make choices, when we make decisions, we must consider the long term effects upon our lives.

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me come to understand the need to stop and consider all things before I choose to make any decisions.
