8/26/13 Daily Devotion

Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemies before you, saying, ‘Destroy them!’

How much do you trust in God? Throughout the Bible, we see many examples of how the people of God were willing to trust in Him with their very lives. They went into battle, they went up against unbelievable odds, armed with their greatest weapon, trust in God. How often do we walk within the trust of God? Do we live as if He is our refuge, our place of peace? Do we believe that He walks with us, or do we often feel like we have been abandoned? God is there for us each and every day, but He will not force Himself into being a part of our lives. He is there and ready to be your refuge. Will you let Him?

Prayer Starter:

Lord, come into my life in a powerful way. Come and change me. Come and help me trust in You more as each day passes.
