9/13/13 Daily Devotion

Psalm 18:36 You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way.

Life may not always be a joyous journey, but it doesn’t have to be a dark and dreadful adventure. When we walk void of the presence of God, we will have much more difficulty and despair. But as we strive to follow the path He has set before us, our lives will be much more enjoyable. This is not to say that we will never run into difficult moments, for we all will; but these moments are much more bearable when we are walking upon the path of righteousness, for it is there that we feel and experience the power of God. The correct path, the path that God has set for us to travel, brings about an easier to deal with existence here upon this earth. The question I guess we must consider is this: why do we continue to walk upon a path filled with deep crevices and dangerous curves, when we can walk with assurance on the correct path because of and with God?

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me walk in Your truth, displaying Your forgiveness.
