9/19/13 Daily Devotion

Colossians 1:10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,

Why are we Christians? Seems like a question that has no place being asked, but isn’t the answer important? Is not the answer a reflection of our hearts, a reflection of our relationships with God? The question seems to be a little more important when we consider the big picture. A life centered around God will be fruitful. A life striving to bring others to Him will be fruitful. A life that is focused on sharing His love within this world will be fruitful. So let’s go back to our original question and one more. Why are we Christians? Is our Christianity bearing fruit?

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me to walk in such a way that others are able to find You.
