Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Before Jesus left this earth, before He went to be at the right hand of God, He gave some final directives to His disciples, but not every church desires to follow His instructions. Jesus states that we, as Christians, must take His message into all the world, seeking to make disciples, but He doesn’t end at that point. Most churches are carrying the scriptures into the world, striving to reach the lost, in hopes of making disciples, but not all are sharing of the need for baptism. Baptism is an essential part of salvation, or Jesus wouldn’t have mentioned it again before He went to be with God. If we are then to remove the necessity of baptism, why not remove anything that we don’t deem as necessary?

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me live within the guidelines of Your word, without challenging its purpose within my life.
