11/21/13 Daily Devotion

Psalm 119:86 All your commands are trustworthy; help me, for men persecute me without cause.

We often walk through this life wondering, whom can we trust? We have friends that have quickly become foes. We have family members who have become enemies. We have children who have taken a stand on the other side of the line. Our hearts are broken, our direction is lost, and our purpose is dimmed. It seems as if we have been defeated by the frailties of this world, but we have not. God is trustworthy. His Word is trustworthy. His ideology is trustworthy. Everything about God is trustworthy. God is there to guide us through the troubles. He is there to carry us through the persecutions. He is there to help us through this journey called life. God is worthy of your trust.

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me to trust You in every aspect of my life, knowing that You will not leave me to endure anything, anything, alone.
