2/11/14 Daily Devotion

Galatians 1:23-24 They only heard the report: The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy. And they praised God because of me.

If you know anything about the apostle Paul, you know about his past. Paul, at a point in his life, was not an exemplary servant of God. His motives were seemingly pure, as he was trying to adhere to the religious mannerisms that he was taught, but his eyes were opened to the truth, his eyes were opened to the existence of God. After Paul’s conversion, he was on fire for the Lord. While some were skeptical, all were very blessed by the presence of God that took up residence in his life. Can the same be said of those who come into our lives? Are they blessed with the presence of God that has taken up residence within our lives? Has He really taken up residence within our lives?

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me change my life in such a way that those around me will feel Your presence and become filled with the desire to seek You.
