3/12/14 Daily Devotion

Galatians 5:10 I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is throwing you into confusion will pay the penalty, whoever he may be.

It is our responsibility to come to understand the motives of others within our lives. While this might not always be easy, if we seek to understand their purpose within our lives we will come to understand their necessity, and we will come to understand whether or not that necessity is positive or negative. It’s important for us to know that those from which we receive our Christian education are determined to bring the truth into our lives. It is also important for us to know when their intentions indicate that their desire is to lead us away from the truth. As Christians, we must, as we are taught within scripture, test everything in order to see that it is beneficial and Godly. It is also important that we test our own intentions in order to make sure our own hearts are purely seeking to do the will of God.

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me walk in a manner that demonstrates my willingness to follow You and Your will for my life, in a manner that shows I want to live a life that is purely focused on demonstrating Your presence within my life.
