Galatians 6:3 If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

Sometimes all we have to do to find a conceited person is to look in the mirror. Sometimes all we have to do to find a conceited person is to look at the picture on our ID. The problem for most of us lies in the fact that we cannot see ourselves, we cannot see our actions, we cannot see our motives, because we are too busy looking at the faults of others. While it might not make us happy, we should stop considering the faults of others and consider our own. In most cases, we can clearly see the faults of others because we are trying to make ourselves feel better. If we can knock everyone else to the ground, we are then found in an elevated state, at least in our own opinion. If we can criticize everyone else, we begin to look better, at least in our own eyes. In the eyes of God, we are all equal. In the eyes of God, all people are equal. In the eyes of God, all people are equally important. Stop and consider the opinions of God. Stop and begin to understand that apart from God we are nothing, nothing. Stop and begin to understand your existence with a proper attitude, a proper perspective.

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me understand that apart from You, I am nothing.
