Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Sometimes it’s hard to continue doing good without seeing the fruits of our labor. If we could just see that we have made a small difference in someone’s life, it would change our energy. If we could see just a small change in someone’s life, it would motivate us more. If we could see a glimmer of hope in someone’s smile, it might give us the gumption to carry forward. The problem is that while we should continue to do good, we might see the direct results of our labor. The fact that we might not see the results does not negate our efforts. Often, we are the ones who are planting the seeds, while others will come eventually and help them grow. Eventually, everything we do has an effect on those around us, thus we must never stop doing good. We must never stop sharing the gospel; we must never stop demonstrating the love of Christ.

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me continue to do good in Your name, even if I do not see direct results.
