Bible Review: The NIV Life Journey Bible, Published By Zondervan Publishing

The NIV Life Journey Bible: Explore How Scripture Meets Your Deepest Needs, Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend General editors, published by Zondervan Publishing, is a Bible that desires to enhance the lives of all those who are blessed to turn its pages.

As it states in the title, this Bible comes in the easy to read and understand New International Version, but the positive aspects of it do not end at this point. Colorful maps, detailed study aids, and captivating book introductions bring this Bible to a must have in your arsenal of scriptures.

While the afore mentioned positive aspects of this Bible are wonderful, they are, for the most part, found upon the pages of almost every Bible printed today. So why purchase this particular Bible? I’m glad you asked. This Bible has so much more to offer its readers than the average on the market today.

Its enhancements come from the pens of Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend. They have put together some amazing insights based on their growth principles, insights that help the student of scripture engage more powerfully in the act of study. These insights make it easier to seek spiritual, personal and relational growth.

The choice of a new Bible is important and should not be taken lightly. For those seeking a deeper, more spiritually focused relationship with God, I would highly recommend looking twice at this one.
