10/29/14 Daily Devotion

James 5:9 Don’t grumble against each other, brothers, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!

How do you spend your day? Is it filled with activities? Is it filled with responsibilities? Is it filled with joyous journeys, or is it filled with a combination of such? When we think of our lives, there is one thing we don’t consider, at least not very much: how much time we spend grumbling and complaining. We always remember the good times. We always remember the average times. We always remember the bad times, but we try to forget about about the time that is waisted arguing and complaining. Life is precious. The time we spend here on earth is too precious to spend it wasting on the numerous needless, worthless arguments, and complaints that flow from us out into this world.

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me understand that life is too precious to waste it arguing and complaining about worthless things.
