1/1/15 Daily Devotion

Malachi 4:4 “Remember the law of my servant Moses, the decrees and laws I gave him at Horeb for all Israel.

Sometimes, when life gets going fast, we forget to follow some of the regulations set up by God. This happens because we get caught up in life, we get caught up the moment, we get caught in what’s happening and begin to go with the flow and begin to somewhat set aside what we know to be right. This usually happens because we lose our focus. This usually happens because we forget to concentrate on the will of God. Life will come, sometimes fast, but we must find a way to slow it down so it does not overtake us. We must not allow it to overtake our relationship with God. We need to make a conscience effort to place God first, to consider what He wants for our lives. But if we get caught up in life and begin to walk a different path, a path away from God’s rules and regulations, He will always be there to welcome us once we are ready to walk the walk He expects of His children.

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me understand how to live my life completely focused on You at all times.
