2/13/15 Daily Devotion

Acts 3:8 He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.

Instead of doubting the power of God, the crippled man jumped to his feet fully embracing its existence. Following his rising, he immediately began praising God while he walked and jumped. It’s wonderful to know the excitement he was feeling. It is wonderful to know his appreciation was real. It is wonderful to know that he was enjoying his ability to walk and jump right into the temple. His heart was filled with gratitude. His heart was filled with praise, and he openly expressed this to all within the temple and probably for many days to come. Have you been changed by the shed blood of Jesus? Has your life been altered by the power of God? Can others see this in your daily activity, your daily routine?

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me be appreciative of all that you have done within my life and the lives of those I love.
