Daily Devotion 3/10/15

Acts 4:33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all.

This power was not their own. This power came from God. God blessed them as they lived for Him. God guided them as they followed His ways. God empowered them as they sought out His will for their lives. Here’s the wonderful news: God will do the same for all those willing to call upon His name. God will not leave us to fend for ourselves. God will be our guide, but only if we are willing to be guided. God will bless us, but only if we are ready to follow His ways. God will empower us, but only if we are willing to walk the path He has set before our lives. We can’t complain about not receiving the blessings of God if we are unwilling to express our love for Him through our service.

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me come to appreciate Your presence within my life in such a way that I always consider Your desire for my life before anything else.
