Daily Devotion 3/21/15

Acts 5:42 Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.

The disciples went forward with the message of Christ, the message of salvation and forgiveness. Their attitude and willingness to walk forth with the message is admirable. They wanted everyone to have a chance to hear, so they took the salvation of God and delivered it to any household that would take the time to listen, any household that desired to hear the gospel. Why don’t we do this anymore? Why do we have the attitude that declares, “The church doors are open, and you are welcome to join us!” Why do we refrain from placing our presence at their threshold? Why?

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me become willing to take the gospel out into the world instead of asking those who want its knowledge to come towards me.
