Daily Devotion 3/2/15

Acts 4:23-24 On their release, Peter and John went back to their own people and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them. When they heard this, they raised their voices together in prayer to God. “Sovereign Lord,” they said, “you made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything in them.

Peter and John were released and their first action was to seek out the others and report to them the glorious actions of God. Their response was wonderful. They raised their voices together and prayed to God. They understood that God was working in this situation. They understood that He was the reason this once crippled man was now able to have a new outlook on life. They understood, and they offered Him the glory. Do we understand how much God works in our lives? Do we offer prayers and praise to God in honor of all that He has done? If we truly understand what God has done within our lives we will; we will.

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me express honor and offer You praise for all You have done within my life.
