Daily Devotion 3/25/15

Acts 6:4 and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.”

Delegation is an important aspect of any church. A small number of people cannot take care of everything and do it justice. When we are faced with an overload of duties, we do not give each task, each need, that which it deserves to receive. There must be some type of system, some type of designation, for each task. Otherwise, we will miss out on the blessings of God. How can that be said? Well, it’s simple. When we do not proceed as directed by God, when we do not give something our full attention, it is no different than trying to follow only some of God’s directives. Delegation within the church begins within our individual lives. If we cannot delegate and prioritize our own lives, it will not happen at church.

 Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me learn to allow set priorities within my life, so I will be able to perform each task in such a manner that it will bring it to fruition in a way that honors You.
