Daily Devotion 3/6/15

Acts 4:29-30 Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”

God doesn’t send us into this world with His message and leave us to fend for ourselves. In all circumstances, God empowers us to serve Him in a way that is glorifying, in a way that demonstrates His presence within our lives. We might, at times, feel some fear, but we must never allow this fear to take over our lives. This fear usually comes from the Devil’s desire to prevent us from sharing our faith and that which God has done to bring about positive change. We must take this fear captive and remind ourselves that God has empowered us to walk forward in our relationship with Him and in the sharing of His gospel with the world.

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me see that You have already empowered me to serve You in the manner that You have called me to serve.
