Daily Devotion 4/21/15

Acts 9:3 As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.

Saul was on the move. He was heading to Damascus, when suddenly God showed up in a flash. One moment Saul was moving along the road, contemplating the task ahead, and the next he was stopped by the presence of God. God showed up in Saul’s life at the perfect moment. Some might argue and state that it might have been better for Him to intervene on Saul’s life when Stephen was being stoned or at some other point where Saul was persecuting Christians, but God came in perfect timing. God knows exactly what He is doing, so His intervention is perfect. It is perfect. Open your life to God and let Him intervene with His hand of perfection, so you can see what glorious things He has in store for and through us as we allow Him to have control.

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me be receptive to Your presence and promptings within my life.
