Daily Devotion 4/23/15

Acts 9:6 “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

Saul was now in an awkward position, one that he never dreamed would occur within his life. He was blinded to his former ways, no longer able to see or understand where he was going, and left to consider what God was going to do within his life at this very moment. He was no longer able to focus on his personal journey. He was no longer able to go forward without help, help from God and help from others. Sometimes, it’s hard to just listen. Sometimes, it’s hard to admit that we need the help of others, but we can. And if we do, we shall truly see how God can work. When we open our lives up to the guidance of God through His urgings and through the Godly urgings of others, things change. They change for the better. Do you want your life to become more about God? Then let God have more of your life.

Prayer Starter:

Lord, help me listen to Your urgings about the direction of my life.
