Daily Devotion 4/27/15

Acts 9:10 In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord called to him in a vision, “Ananias!”“Yes, Lord,” he answered.

Ananias was a Godly man, a man that wanted to serve God with all his heart. So when God called to him, he was ready to be set into action, but this feeling didn’t last long. Does God still come to us in the manner that He did Ananias? Why not? God still speaks to His children. He still calls them into action. The problem is many of us do not hear the urgings of God because we have allowed our lives to overtake everything. God has a plan, and He will, from time to time, reveal to us this plan. It can be easily missed, however, if we are unwilling to listen, unwilling to hear God speak.

Prayer Starter:

Lord, open my ears, that I may hear You speaking words of guidance within my life.
