Daily Devotion 4/29/15

Acts 9:15 But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of Israel.

When we do not listen to God, the results can be detrimental. What if Ananias ignored God’s desires? What of he chose to go the other way and avoid Saul all together? Things for us would be drastically different. Saul would never have become as God desired, His chosen instrument, and where would be today? If Saul did not act upon the urging of God to go to Jerusalem,  if Ananias did not go to Saul as God desired, the gospel may not have reached the world. Now it is true that God could have used someone else, but are you seriously willing to take that chance?

Prayer Starter:

Lord, give me the courage to move in the direction You have called me to move.
