5/26/12 Daily Devotion

Luke 17:16-19 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan. [17] Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? [18] Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?” [19] Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

 
One came back and threw himself at the feet of Jesus. One came back and thanked Jesus for giving back to him his life. One came back and honored Jesus for allowing him to become whole again. One came back and praised Jesus for giving him back to his family. One came back and glorified Jesus for giving him the opportunity to have his friends back in his life. Ten were healed in the same manner. Ten were changed in exactly the same way. Ten were given a second chance at a real life. Ten were given the opportunity to live, to really live once again, but only one honored Jesus for what He had done. Do you honor Jesus for all that He does within your life?
